The Perfect Load: Clean Dishes Every Time

STEP 1: THE PRE-RINSE


Dishes soiled by sticky or thick food that is more likely to collect in the dishwasher plumbing should be rinsed off prior to loading. For example: Smoothies, egg, and cheese.


STEP 2: GET THE SOAP RIGHT


Use dishwasher powder, not pods or gels.



Add soap detergent to both wash cycles. Fill both the sealed soap compartment, and the cup on top.



Don’t overfill the soap. Only add up to the line:



STEP 3: DON’T SKIP THE RINSE AID!


Watch for the light:


Be sure to top it up once a month:



STEP 4: RUN THE HOT WATER


Before starting a fresh load, run the hot water in the kitchen sink until warm.


STEP 4: DATE NIGHT


Use a commercial dishwasher cleaner once a month:



Clean the filter as required:
